500-room hotel laundry upgrade in Riyadh
What the client needed
A five-star hotel in Riyadh was expanding from 300 to 500 rooms and needed to upgrade their laundry capacity accordingly. The existing laundry room had limited space, the power supply was 380V/60Hz, and they needed equipment that could handle both guest room linen and a large banquet hall's tablecloths and napkins. Summer temperatures exceeding 45°C meant the laundry room also needed consideration for heat dissipation.
What we delivered
We configured a mixed-capacity setup: 2× 100kg washer extractors for daily guest linen and 1× 150kg washer extractor for bulk items like banquet tablecloths. All three dryers were 100kg steam-heated units. For finishing, we recommended a 3.3m double-roll flatwork ironer to handle king-size bed sheets efficiently. All equipment was specified for 380V/60Hz. We also advised on ventilation requirements to manage heat buildup in the desert climate.
The mixed-capacity approach was smart — we can run the smaller washers for light days and bring the 150kg online for banquet events. Very practical advice.
