Complete laundry setup for a 300-room resort in Cancún
What the client needed
A 300-room beachfront resort in Cancún needed to replace aging laundry equipment that could no longer keep up with peak-season occupancy. Their existing machines were breaking down frequently, causing delays in linen turnaround. They required equipment that could handle 1,500kg of linen per day, fit in their existing laundry room footprint, and work with their 220V/60Hz power supply.
What we delivered
We configured a complete laundry line matched to their daily volume: 2× 100kg washer extractors (soft mount, for upper-floor installation), 2× 100kg tumble dryers (steam heated), and 1× 2.5m single-roll flatwork ironer for bed sheets and tablecloths. All equipment was shipped in 2× 40HQ containers with a detailed loading plan. A 6-month wearing parts kit was included with each machine.
We also provided a laundry room layout suggestion optimizing the linen flow from dirty intake to clean output, minimizing staff walking distance.
The machines have been running 16 hours a day for 8 months now with zero downtime. The soft mount installation saved us from having to reinforce the floor.
